How to Make a Good Profile Picture

Well, it’s the age of Global Village and social networking. We join social networking, follow websites or create our own blogs. In all of cases we mostly need a good profile picture. A good profile picture distinguish you from other people whether you are following a website or you are on a social networking website. A good profile picture also gives a good impression of your personality.

I am going to share some basic things on how to create a good profile picture.

First of all let’s stick to some basic rules of a profile picture.

• Your Picture must be your own, not of your dearest pet or your favorite hero or movie character.
• There must be only you in the profile pic not your friend.
• Background must not match your face or hair color.

There are two steps of making a good profile picture.

Capturing and Editing

While second step is not that much necessary but first step is must. You need a picture or you must to capture a new one.

Capturing a Profile Picture

 When it comes to capturing a profile picture, some extra precautions are needed. I am supposing you are having an inexpensive camera and you have no assistant to capture your picture. 


Following are some tips to be obeyed during capturing a profile picture, including some basic things you must be knowing. 

Dress Up Well

You must to dress properly because you need a handsome look. Wear some of your favorite dresses and comb your hair properly.

Good Light

Don’t capture the image in a normal or dark room, instead come out in sunlight or at least in good light area. Choose the best area where light comes fine at your face. Prefer to use some lamps or professional lightning if you are going to capture image in a room.

Background

Choosing a background is so important, it may ruin your picture or make your picture perfect. Background must not match your skin or hair color. You must be clear in the picture, and prefer to make your background less exposed ( If you have a good cam ) .

Adjust Brightness and Exposure

You must be completely exposed to the camera, and no blur must be involved ( Not for Background ) . Adjust brightness of the cam to fulfill your needs.

Posing

While, it’s not so much necessary to learn about pose but you must learn it in order to deny same old kind of pic. Following are some of profile pic poses for your inspiration.

Reduce Noise

When you take a full pixels image, usually you see noise in your picture. You can get rid of it by getting an expensive camera or by using some software.
